Sydney Gordon has joined tImagehe Reynolds Library team as a library specialist at Parham Library. Sydney’s library career began when she started working for Chesterfield County Public Libraries at the Meadowdale Branch in September 2009 as a Library Assistant for circulation. From 2010-12, Sydney worked at Reynolds Library as a part time library specialist. During the last two years, Sydney was working as an instructional assistant at John Tyler Community College. Sydney received her associate’s degree from John Tyler Community College in May 2003. After completing her associate’s degree, she went on to get her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Management Systems from Longwood University in May 2007. She is currently studying for a master’s degree in Library Science at the University of South Carolina. She is also taking computer classes for her Computer Application Certificate at John Tyler Community College. In her free time, Sydney loves to bowl, play softball, and spend time with family and friends. She enjoys reading science fiction, romance, and young adult novels. Sydney is excited to be working here and hope to learn many new things. She loves working with the public. Please welcome Sydney!
